Information and Documentation Section |
|
To run the various research works of this institute properly, there is
a decent Library within Information and Documentation Section. This
section receives and compiles all information on research development.
It contains a wide collection of books, research papers, periodicals,
microfilms, microfiches, technical reports, notes etc.
The Information
and Documentation Section always provides with necessary information
on subjects of Structural engineering, building construction,
foundation engineering, soil mechanics, architecture, mathematics,
sanitary engineering, physics, chemistry, environmental engineering,
construction management, ferrocement technology, housing science etc.
to the professional staff, researchers, engineers, architects,
technical personnel, scientists, teachers and students. It responds to
quarries received time to time from the public, students, researchers
and scholars who write to or visit this Section. It also provides with
facilities of regular lectures forum on the use of library and
literature searching for the trainees related to construction
engineering and low-cost housing and makes them acquainted with up-to
-date information on building construction industry.
During these
years 41 Nos. of books on structural engineering, construction and
others subject, 51 issues of the Journals on International Journal of
housing science and its applications, Open House International, ACI
Structural Journal, ACI Material Journal, ACI Concrete International
and 38 Nos. of others publications are added to library. The library
subscribed 5 titles of foreign periodicals. The library also received
remarkable reprints, report, book lets bulletins etc. from different
research organization within and out side the country. |
